Das Seminar wird in Deutsch und Englsih abgehalten. Es hat zwei Ziele: In Verbindung mit dem gemeinsamen (orientalistischen) Dissertantenseminar soll ein Überblick gewonnen werden über die gegenwärtigen Trends der Erforschung lexikalischer Semantik und der Frage nachgegangen werden, welche Bedeutung diese für die Arbeit am sumerischen (und akkadischen) Lexikon besitzt. Das zweite Ziel ist die Aufbereitung, das heisst das Verfassen, ausgewählter Artikel des sumerischen aufgrund der einschlägigen Internetressourcen bzw. der vom LV Leiter zur Verfügung gestellten Materialien.
