Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

We start with some texts about Sapir, Whorf and Boas. We look into the Inuit snow "problem" wich is by some authors seen as "hoax". Some generally accepted views will be discussed and so help us to a better
understanding of language and how it is apprehended.
