Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture introduces in a focussed manner to the history of north-south-relations during the past 500 years.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written test (4 dates).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Providing an insight to major economic, political, social, and cultual aspects of north-south-relations since app. 1500 CE, accentuating the foundations of historical perspectives.
