Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
1) Attendance and participation in class
2) Presentation of the concept of the planned seminar paper including literature overview n class;
3) Summaries of specialised literature (1 page/session; a maximum of three sessions can be missed; summaries are due the day before each session and must be submitted via moodle)
4) Submit a written assignment to a topic related to the proseminar (10 pages, excluding bibliography) (Date of submission: September 30th, 2019)All three requirements must be fulfilled in order to positively complete the proseminar.

In the second part of the course, the focus is put on case studies. Students are required to choose a case study themselves and present it during class. The case studies are also the basis for the final written assignment in form of a seminar paper. During the course, students shall practice to choose a topic, formulate a research question and discuss it in form of a written assignment.
