Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

We will discuss different influential theories on economic development, as well as the related empirical evidence and policy debates.
This course is probably best done together with Alejandro Cunat's lecture. We will discuss issues he raises in more detail which should prepare you for lecture exam.

Assessment and permitted materials

We will use a problem based approach in this course. This means that you will work into problem settings, which you find on moodle each week. You will have to read the relevant literature to be able to answer the problems. Additionally once in the course, you will facilate / present the problem finding in class.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Examination topics

You will be graded by homeworks, a presentation you give, attendance and participation in class. Your presentation will be peer-evaluated. Active participation is encouraged and reflected in you grade.
