Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
We will cover the War in/against Yemen in its various dimensions: international, regional, national. Dealing, esp., with the role of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the Jihadi subcultures, South Yemen; drone warfare etc.
Assessment and permitted materials
presentation; active participation in classroom discussions; preparing a weekly overview
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Making sense of English and Arabic language sources.
Examination topics
Grading is according to active participation and a report
