Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Der Stufenweg (lam rim) zum Erwachen ist ein weitverbreitetes literarisches Genre des tibetischen Buddhismus. Neben einer allgemeinem Einführung und einem Überblick über die Thematik werden wir in diesem Semester einfache und kurze tibetische Werke aus diesem Bereich lesen, entweder als Auszug oder im Ganzen. Diese sollen uns Aufschluss über Entstehung, Inhalt und Wechselbeziehung einzelner Lehrsystem geben, sowie der damit im Zusammenhang stehenden religiösen Praktiken.Die Lehrveranstaltung verwendet die e-learning Plattform moodle.
Assessment and permitted materials
Empfohlene Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist der erfolgreiche Abschluss der zweisemestrigen Einführung in das Klassische Tibetisch. Weiters wird regelmäßige Anwesenheit erwartet. Die Zeugnisvergabe erfolgt auf Basis von Referaten zu ausgewählten Themen und der aktiven Mitarbeit, speziell bei der Lektüre.
