Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course will provide an introduction in the New Architecture of Development Cooperation and should help to understand the recent disourse about the Post 2015 agenda. We will discuss and analyze the different positions of different stakeholders in the international discourse.

Assessment and permitted materials

Active engagement, presentation of at least one contribution, continous reading of the literature and articles of the course, to write a short seminar paper at the end of the course.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course schould enable the students to assess the frameworks and the bases of the New Aid Archtecture in a critical way in order to follow the international discours of the Post 2015 Agenda

Examination topics

Starting with an overview of the past Aid Architecture since 1960 we will discuss based on recent articles and contributions to the preparation process of the Post 2015 Agenda. Each student has to prepare different aspects of the process and has to present his opinion and findings. Contributions to the discussion and the observation of the international discourse are a precondition.
