Aims, contents and method of the course
Post-development approaches fundamentally reject ¿development' as a eurocentric construct and as the instrument of economic and cultural imperialism. The course will introduce post-development approaches as well as sharp critiques of their ideas.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Aim of the course is a well-founded evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of different post-development approaches.
Examination topics
Discussion and comparison of primary and secondary literature, presentations of case studies.
