Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar will be dealing with approaches taking gender relations, women's experiences or feminist movements as a starting point for analysing the international political economy. The specific topics range from household economics to representations of global security and the internationalization of factory production. A recurrent theme will be the question how ideas about the naturalness of gender roles constitute relations of power.
