Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The performance assessment consists of three parts:1) Compulsory attendance (you can only be absent x6 without excuse) and active participation in both parts of the course (theory and practice)
2) Submission of assignments and completion of homework
3) Passing the written and oral exam at the end of the semesterThe material of the exams will be discussed during the semester.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Mastering of the relevant transcription system as well as knowledge of the basic phonological, morphological, and syntactic structures of the Arabic dialect of Baghdad.
