Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course builds on Amharic III.
Objective: elementary language use at A2 level.
Contents: gerundive, relative constructions, subordination, etc., vocabulary and conversation training.
Methods: In addition to a brief introduction to the respective grammar, the course is very interactive, with many speaking, listening, reading and writing exer

Assessment and permitted materials

At the end of the semester, there will be a take-home exam that can be completed with the help of dictionaries and other materials.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Passing the take-home exam is the minimum requirement for passing this course. There is no compulsory attendance.
A total of 30 points can be achieved: -15.25 points: Fail, 15.5 - 19 points: Pass, 19.25 - 22.75: Satisfactory, 23 - 26.5: Good, 26.75 - 30: Very Good
