Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Supplementing selected morphological, syntactic and lexical topics, the focus of this semester is on written language. In addition to literary texts, the contemporary language of the media is dealt with in particular.

Assessment and permitted materials

The course has an examination-immanent character. Attendance is compulsory; a maximum of 3 absences will be tolerated. This also applies to any sessions held online. A supplementary final exam is conducted at the end of the semester.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

In addition to a basic theoretical understanding of morphology and syntax, the course, as the last part of a four-semester basic course, should enable students to work independently on New Persian texts.

Final test: 50%
Participation, preparation: 50%

Examination topics

The course contents is developed in interaction with the students. Students are expected to actively participate in the preparation of the texts. The exam includes all practical and theoretical contents of the course.
