Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In addition to dealing with selected topics from morphology, syntax and lexis, the focus of this semester will be on modern written language. We will cover in particular current media texts.
Assessment and permitted materials
The course has an examination-immanent character. Attendance is compulsory; a maximum of 3 absences will be tolerated. This also applies to any sessions held online. A supplementary final exam is conducted at the end of the semester.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
In addition to a basic theoretical understanding of morphology and syntax, the course, as the last part of a four-semester basic course, should enable students to work independently on New Persian texts.Final test: 50%

Examination topics
The course contents is developed in interaction with the students. Students are expected to actively participate in the preparation of the texts. The exam includes all practical and theoretical contents of the course.
