Aims, contents and method of the course
Die Vorlesung behandelt Themen der Geistes- und Kulturgeschichte Irans von der Dynastie der Safaviden (1501-1722) bis zur Gegenwart der Islamischen Republik Iran. Geboten wird ein Überblick zu folgenden Themenblöcken: Religion und Gesellschaft, Stadt und Land, Kultur im privaten und öffentlichen Raum, Kultur und Nationalstaat, Iran und Europa.

Schriftliche Prüfung (Single/Multiple choice, drag-and-drop), online, open book.
