Aims, contents and method of the course

Reading of extracts from the Chronicle ABC 5 (Nebuchadnezzar, 605-595 BCE).
REGARDING COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS AND GUIDELINES:
The course will be held in class, in accordance to the COVID 19 Univie current safety guidelines. Due to the unstable situation and the associated uncertainties, however, a high degree of flexibility is required. Accordingly, the course may transfer to be held ONLINE via one of the universities platforms. Distance and hygiene rules must be observed in any case.

Assessment and permitted materials

the text will be read in class; students are required to prepare for this; in addition, they will give a short presentation on a pertinent topic (15-20 mins).

Presence (3 absences are admissible) & participation in class work with prior preparation (70%); oral presentation: 30%
