Aims, contents and method of the course

Guidance in writing MA theses, including presentation of the MA topic and discussion of relevant texts and methodology

Assessment and permitted materials

An initial presentation on the MA thesis and an advanced one after discussion and review of the initial presentation

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum requirements: Active participation in class, including an oral presentation on the topic of the MA thesis and the preparation of the revised exposé for the MA thesis, with a bibliography (and response to feedback), following the instructor's guidance and adhering to best scientific practices. Attendance is mandatory, with a maximum of three absences allowed. Each individual contribution is evaluated separately. The exposé (and, if applicable, the response to feedback) accounts for 40% of the final grade, the oral presentation for 20%, and regular participation in class for 40%.

Examination topics

Active participation in class, initial presentation, revised presentation, and written exposé for the MA thesis
