Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Overwiew of different genres of Arabic literature from different periods including works by Arab grammarians, poetry, modern novels, literature/texts in dialects.
Finding a topic for the BA thesis, writing an abstract, submission of the thesis.

Assessment and permitted materials

Active participation
Abstract of thesis until 8 Jan 2024.
Submission of BA thesis until 30 April 2024 at latest.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Presence in the class (max. 3 absences tolerated)
Active participation (30%)
BA thesis (70%)

Examination topics

No exam.
