Aims, contents and method of the course

Ability to read, transcribe and translate simple Ottoman prose texts of various periods with the help of a dictionary (printed texts, no manuscripts).

Assessment and permitted materials

Continuous assessment of course work, preparations of the texts and active participation are required. Three tests.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Anwesenheitspflicht! Dreimaliges Fehlen wird toleriert, häufiges Zuspätkommen sowie Nicht-Vorbereiten von Übungen wird als Abwesenheit gewertet. Drei verpflichtende Tests. Gesamtnote wird aus Anwesenheit, Mitarbeit und Tests errechnet, zwei der drei Tests müssen positiv sein, um eine positive Gesamtbewertung zu erhalten.
Mindestanforderung für die positive Beurteilung ist die aktive Mitarbeit und Anwesenheit (3x Fehlen wird toleriert) sowie zwei (von insgesamt drei) positiv bewertete Tests. Die Leistungen aus Mitarbeit und Tests werden im Verhältnis 25 : 75 für die Beurteilung herangezogen.
