Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

We will read a text of the tradition of mental health in the Islamic medicine tradition.

Assessment and permitted materials

Active participation (40%); writing a presentation out of a list available at the beginning of winter term (10%) and a paper (50%). If necessary a personal discussion of the paper.
According to the current situation, we will have to adapt the course as a kind of online course.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Regular written or participation in the hybrid forms of learnings.
Quality of participation and the papers presented, understanding of the texts to be discussed. Good knowledge of Arabic and English.

The rules of the code of conduct of the University of Vienna are to be followed.
