Aims, contents and method of the course
Introduction to Ugaritic: survey of the sources; grammar; reading of texts (short texts and extracts of longer compositions).
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation in the reading of the texts is required, as is passing a grammar test. Attendence is mandatory; missing three classes is admissable.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The grading system is as follows:
5 (0-52): not enough
4 (53-65): enough
3 (66-77): satisfactory
2 (78-90): good
1 (91-100): very good
