Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
With the goal of learning to read and understand classical Tibetan, a straightforward classical texts will be studied word by word, using modern Tibetan (with explanation in English when necessary) as the medium of instruction, thereby building vocabularies, both classical and modern, and improving skill of reading , which is key for comprehending complex Tibetan texts. There will be an oral\reading test at the end of the semester.
