Aims, contents and method of the course
Diese Vorlesung bietet einen selektiven Überblick über die neuzeitliche westafrikanische Geschichte: Aufmerksamkeit wird gelegt auf politische, soziale, wirtschaftliche und kulturelle Transformationsprozesse. Neben genuinen afrikanischen Entwicklungslinien und Verläufen werden die Kolonialgeschichte Westafrikas sowie ausgewählte postkoloniale Prozesse behandelt. Vermittelt wird ein Einblick und erster Überblick über die Historie Westafrikas.
Assessment and permitted materials
Schriftliche ONLINE-Prüfung + ein Kurzessay (2 Seiten) zu einem selbstgewählten Themenaspekt aus dem Themenkreis der Vorlesung, auf der Basis von zwei Texten aus der einschlägigen Fachliteratur. Prüfungsbogen und Kurzessay müssen beide zum selben Termin hochgeladen werden.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Absolvierung der digitalen Prüfung, Erbringung der Antwortleistung (2 Prüfungsfragen) und des Kurzessays. Nähere Angaben auf Moodle.
