Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Teilnehmer/innen lernen in der Vorlesung Grundbegriffe, Konzepte und Betätigungsfelder der auf Japan bezogenen Literaturwissenschaft kennen. Insbesondere wird dabei reflektiert, welche Bereiche der japanischen Gegenwartsliteratur - also die seit 1945 entstandene und weiterhin entstehende Literatur - bisher aus welchen Perspektiven und unter welchen Fragestellungen wissenschaftlich behandelt wurden.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

In der Vorlesung werden die Studierenden mit bekannten japanischen AutorInnen, Werken und Themen der Gegenwartsliteratur sowie mit aktuellen Tendenzen des Literaturmarktes in Japan vertraut gemacht.
