Aims, contents and method of the course
Über einen Zeitraum von vier Monaten hinweg kontinuierliche Beobachtung und Reflexion gegenwärtiger Geschehnisse auf der koreanischen Halbinsel in Bereichen wie Politik, Wirtschaft, Gesellschaft, Kultur etc.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Die Lehrveranstaltung stellt eine Form des landeskundlichen Unterrichts dar. Sie soll außerdem Anstöße und Anregungen hinsichtlich der weiteren Beschäftigung mit koreanischen Gegebenheiten bieten.
Examination topics
Zeitungs- bzw. Internetrecherche (HÜ), Gruppenarbeiten bzw. regelmäßige Präsentationen seitens der Teilnehmer, Kommentierung und Diskussion.
Reading list
Wesentlich ist die kontinuierliche Nutzung von Online-Medien (deutsch- und/oder englischsprachige Versionen verfügbar): KBS World, Chosun Ilbo, Donga Ilbo, Hankyoreh, Joongang Daily, Korea Herald, Korea Times, etc.
