Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course will familiarize students with Japanese art in the context of East Asian Arts and showing the key episodes in the development of material and visual culture on the Japanese islands.Successful completion of the course will enable students to acquire a good understanding of Japanese art, its specific features and important relics and monuments, and enable them to understand the major differences and similarities of the visual arts of China, Korea and Japan.
