Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The colloquium aims to help students find a topic for their master's thesis with the support of the course instructor and their peers, select research questions, theory, material, and methodology, and support each other in shaping the research process. During the course, students will select their supervisor and prepare a proposal for their research project. By the end of the semester, students should have registered their MA thesis.

Assessment and permitted materials

Participation (15%)
Presentations (including timely provision of materials) (35%)
Written proposal (including timely submission) (50%)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The minimum requirement for a positive assessment is to achieve at least 51 out of 100 points in the overall grade. Each component is assessed independently and con-tributes to the final grade according to the specified percentage distribution. No mo-re than three absences are permitted.
