Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Legal development in the PRC since 1979 can be seen both as product and impact factor of political, social and economic changes in times of reform and opening. At the same time a legacy of legal culture and history is exerting its influence on the way in which law and politics, as well as law and society interact with each other in China. This influence can be traced in the making, the interpretation and implementation of laws and regulations. The lecture presents "Socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics" not only as part of politco-legal terminology, but as a phenomenon of legal practice in today's China.
