Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The renunciation of the Cultural Revolution was both a necessity and a challenge for the CPC after the death of Mao Zedong. The BA-PS PR addresses the question of how this challenge was met as a first step towards reform and opening.
Assessment and permitted materials
Grading is based on presentation, paper and class participation.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The course aims at providing an overview of the political situation in which changes took place in the late nineteen seventies and early nineteen eighties.
