Grading is based on presentation, paper and class participation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course aims at providing an overview of the political situation in which changes took place in the late nineteen seventies and early nineteen eighties. Motivation, mechanisms and consequences of the way in which the CCP confronted the issue of the Cultural Revolution are shown in the context of rehabilitations of victims of political purges and the trial against the Gang of Four.
