Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This UE deals with Civil Movements in Taiwan. Civil society activism in Taiwan is compared to other Asian states. Focus is the respective topics of the Vienna Taiwan Lecture Series, namely: anti-media monopoly movement, anti same-sex marriage movement, anti- nuclear + environmental m ovements.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course gives an overview of the civil movements in Taiwan. C3 is introduced as a library with additional ressources.
