The individual components are examined digitally (Moodle activity quiz and Moodle activity assignment) and orally (video conferences) on the basis of the currently valid regulations for Home Learning/Distance Learning.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
89% – ≤80%: Good (2)
79% – ≤70%: Satisfactory (3)

The focus is on acquiring and enlarging the productive and receptive business-related vocabulary as well as typical sentence patterns and phrases. This also includes typical expressions and patterns pertinent to a more formal communicative register.Methods, activities:
- Reading/Listening to and analysis of business-related dialogues and texts.
- Classroom work; pair work (closed and open pairs); group work; role plays.
- Collaborative learningOverview of topics/situations/semantic fields:
- Getting to know each other
- mobility and asking for/giving directions
- office small-talk
- business-lunches/banquets and toasting
- price negotiations
- money
- office supplies
- appointments
