The course is taught synchronously online due to Corona; this means that the students and the teacher meet at class time via video conferencing tool.
You have to confirm your registration by attending the first class. If you are unable to attend the first class you have to confirm your registration per e-mail not later than the date of the first class, otherwise you will be removed from the list.You can de-register until March 26, 2021 (at uspace AND per e-mail to christina.bazant-kimmel@univie.ac.at). The focus is on acquiring and enlarging the productive and receptive business-related vocabulary as well as typical sentence patterns and phrases. This also includes typical expressions and patterns pertinent to a more formal communicative register.

- Reading/Listening to and analysis of business-related dialogues and texts.
- Practicing business-related dialogues orally.
- Classroom work; pair work (closed and open pairs); group work; role plays.
