The deregistration must take place on March 26th, 2021 at the latest. If no cancellation has been made by then, the performance in this course will be assessed.
For the first two months of this semester, we will have our Chinese class online via BigBlueButton on Moodle. For the following two months, new education models may be adopted during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Um positiv benotet zu werden, dürfen Sie den Lehrveranstaltungs-Einheiten nicht mehr als 3 Mal fernbleiben. Ausnahmen von der Teilnahme am Unterricht sind durch ärztliches Attest zu erwirken, in besonderen Fällen ist das Einvernehmen mit der LV-Leitung herzu-stellen.

Aims, contents and method of the course

Objectives:
1. Students can write characters independently.
2. Write essays at least 500 characters.
3. Independent work on the structure of the lexicon and extension of the expressiveness through paraphrasing.
4. Deepen the knowledge of Chinese grammar, knowledge of natural or idiomatic expressions and stylistics.
5. Helping students learn to apply course material to express themselves correctly in writing and situation-specific situations.

Lessons Form: write sentences as well as short essays.
Learn vocabulary by yourself before and in class. Students have to learn vocabulary independently.

Assessment and permitted materials

The first time attending a course with an examination counts as an exam start, i.e. the course is graded!
Assessment Criteria:
Active Participation 10%; Homework and assignments 25%; Intermediate exam 30%; final exam 35%

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Regular attendance is required for a positive grade.
89.5-100 = Very Good (1)
79.5-89.4 = Good (2)
69.5-79.4 = satisfactory (3)
59.5-69.4 = Sufficient (4)
<59.5 Not enough (5)

Examination topics

All teaching content covered in class and through homework and assignments on Moodle.
An essay at least 500 characters.

内容: 加强（独自）阅读理解能力、学习并练习书写作文。

目标: 无错别字、无病句、语言通顺流畅、逻辑性强、用语书面化；作文字数：至少五百字。

方法: 通过阅读、分析及讨论例文来循序渐进地学习如何书写中文作文。
