Aims, contents and method of the course

Diese Vorlesung bietet eine Einführung in die Triebkräfte der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung Chinas. Sie geht ein auf die Logik wirtschaftspolitischer Maßnahmen zu verschiedenen Zeitpunkten der chinesischen Geschichte seit 1978, beleuchtet die Wechselwirkung zwischen Wirtschaftspolitik und wirtschaftlicher Entwicklung, und thematisiert die sozialen, ökologischen und ökonomischen Kosten des chinesischen Entwicklungsmodells.

Die Vorlesung bietet einen Überblick über das chinesische Entwicklungsmodell, seiner Nachhaltigkeit, den Triebkräften des Strukturwandels, der Einbindung Chinas in das internationale Wirtschaftssystem, das Innovationssystem sowie die Finanzmärkte.
