Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course will focus on the writing of correct Chinese sentences and paragraphies with basic structures.
You will be able to use the Chinese words that you learned to form basic sentences,eventually to write short texts.
You will learn the different writing styles, format, punctuation system in Chinese.
New practical sentence structures and words will be taught in this course as well.
Presentations, writing games will be integrated in this course.
You will recieve necessary materials on Moodle platform at least one week before the course starts.
After this semester, you will be able to use Chinese to write down short texts with 250-300 characters.
This course will be held on-site.

Assessment and permitted materials

Concrete feedback and suggestion will be given every week to your homewoks.
Sentence exercises will be done in class.
Games will be intergrated.
From 8 themes, you will choose 2 to do the presentations.

The final score will be based on your attendance rate, your homework, your presentation, mid-term test and your final test.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Attendance rate+homework : 10% of your final score.
Presentation: 20% of your final score.
Mid-term test: 30% of your final score.
Final test: 40% of your final score.

You need to reach at least a total score of 60 to achieve this course.
