Aims, contents and method of the course
Ausgehend von Überlegungen zu Zielsetzungen und Funktionsweisen von Ideologie im chinesischen Kontext, sollen Erzählungen, die zur Operationalisierung von Ideen und zur Legitimierung von Handlungen herangezogen wurden, anhand von Sekundärliteratur identifiziert und in Primärquellen der politischen Kommunikation nachvollzogen werden. Die von den Studierenden untersuchten Narrative und ihre textuelle (im weiteren Sinn) Umsetzung, die in den Medien (Film/Fernsehen/Zeitung/Internet), oder auch anderen Outlets des politischen-, kulturellen- und des Bildungsbereichs, stattfinden kann, werden in einem kleinen Workshop am Ende des Semesters präsentiert und diskutiert.

Die positive Benotung der Semesterleistung setzt die aktive und regelmäßige Teilnahme (nicht mehr als 2 versäumte reguläre LV-Einheiten, Teilnahme am abschließenden Workshop), sowie die positive Bewertung aller Teilleistungen (s.o.) voraus.
Examination topics
Die Themen der Seminararbeiten/Präsentationen werden mit Unterstützung der LV-Leitung von den SeminarteilnehmerInnen erarbeitet.
