Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
I. AssessmentThis course will be composed of lectures, presentations and discussions, focusing on the assigned reading. Students' final grade will depend on:
1. individual presentation (50%)
2. individual take-home essay (30%)
3. class participation, attendance, particularly in class discussion (20%)II. Language RequirementsEnglish will be the language of this course, and students should have the capability of:
1. reading English and Chinese texts (students who do not read Chinese can attend only after consultation with the professor!)
2. understanding the lectures presented in English
3. writing English home work and participating in Englosh language discussionsIII. Other Requirements1. In order to contribute to the class discussion, all students are requied to read the assigned text in advance.
2. Attendance in this seminar is mandatory and a timely appearance is required, unless exceptional circumstances occur.

2. knowledgeable of the major pillars of internet finance
3. familiar with the basic methods of research on and presentation of this topic.
