Aims, contents and method of the course

History of Chinese Literature from the beginnings until 19th Cent. Overview, selected texts and Interpretation. Due to the cancelation of presence courses presumably until the end of the Easter Holidays, we ask to consult the "moodle" of this course. NEW: it is expected that there will be no presence lectures any more in this Semester. Please see continued new attachments in moodle.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam (date see Homepage of Sinology)
NEW: according to the Guidelines of SPL: online exam: June 26, 8.00 (Details will follow!)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Written exam: answer 10 questions in 45 minutes. Model questions and criteria of grading can be seen in the "moodle" of the course.
NEW: 7 questions to be answered in written form, 3 questions to be answered as mulitple choice questions

Examination topics

Overview: Chinese literature from the "Book of Odes" until the novels of the Qing Dynasty.
