Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar introduces the gender concept and possibilities of its academic use.

Assessment and permitted materials

small scale presentation of academic article, participation in class discussions, end term paper

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Participants are aware of the major gender theories, and know of the importance of applying a gender perspective in their academic work.

Examination topics

Main gender theory is presented by reading and discussing main articles. End term paper.
