Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The February 28 Incident of 1947, which led to an upraising against the Chinese government by the Kuonmintang that had just been reinstated after half a century of Japanese colonial rule, has gained increasing influence on the image of Taiwan's history after 1945 lately. Both the historical event and the political dimension of its place in Taiwanese historiography are dealt with in this course.
