Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Basic knowledge of the Korean language. Basic usage of the Korean language in writing and speaking. Basic rules of Korean grammar.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written examinations: 2 intermediate examinations + 1 final examination
More details will be announced in the first class.

*Anyone who is unexcused absent from the first class is automatically logged out.
** STEOP is just for students of Koreanologie.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students should know the basic structure and functionality of the Korean language. They should have reached the elementary level to be able to read, speak and understand actively. They also should be able to implement the spoken language in written language.

Attendance up to 3 times absence at the course and doing 90% of the homework are requirements for the positive completion of this course.
60% of tests for the positive grade.

Examination topics

The subject matter of the examination is the textbook.
