Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Building on the theoretical foundations (see PUE Korean Theory 1), students are expected to develop practical language competence in terms of reading, understanding, speaking, and writing.Attendance with a maximum of three absences and completing a minimum of 90% of homework assignments are prerequisites for completing the course.
Tests require a minimum score of 60% for a passing grade.
Homework assignments must be submitted on time.
Retakes will only be allowed with a medical certificate.1st written midterm exam (20%), 2nd written midterm exam (30%)
1 written final exam (30%), 1 oral exam (15%)
5 audio recordings (timely submission, each worth 1%, totaling 5%)ASSESSMENT CRITERIATo receive a passing grade, a minimum of 60 points is required.

The most essential everyday language topics will be covered: greetings, housing, describing oneself, family or living situation, cultural information.Practical application of the theoretically learned linguistic fundamentals will be achieved through the use of simple Korean texts, dialogues, role-plays, listening exercises, etc.Recommendation: Please familiarize yourself with the Korean alphabet (Hangeul) before the first lesson. This will make starting much easier!
