Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course will build further on the fundamentals of Digital Korean Studies research that were acquired in the previous semester. It will introduce further theories and tools that shape the discipline of digital humanities and its use in Korean Studies. The course will delve more deeply in how textual analysis, mapping projects, network analysis projects are pursued and in the second half of the semester apply this knowledge in the creation of a small Digital Korean Studies project.
Assessment and permitted materials
The course will be graded through one written multiple choice exam (40%), a presentation on the project that will be pursued (20%), and a poster presentation at the end of the semester (40%).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To receive a passing grade for the course, a minimum grade of 60% is needed.The grading scale for the course is as follows:

"Gut"/good (81-90%)
"Befriedigend"/satisfactory (71-80%)
"Genügend"/adequate (60-70%)

Examination topics
There will be a written multiple-choice exam that is based on the PowerPoints used in the course and the readings that are uploaded on Moodle.
Reading list
Literature and readings will be announced during class and made available to students through Moodle.
