Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

We will read a Rigvedic hymn and discuss topics of diachronic grammar.

Assessment and permitted materials

Regular attendance, preparation of the text, discussion and at the end of term one has to present a translation and discussion of forms.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Getting familiar with the problems of Rigvedic philology, so that students will be able to work with Rigvedic text material themselves.

Examination topics

Preparation of the text, discussion, and representation.
