In this class we will have a closer look at these myths and stereotypes, compare bilingual first language acquisition to monolingual acquisition, and discover similarities and differences. We will address questions such as: Who is bilingual? Is code-switching and mixing as sign of one fused language system? How are languages represented in the bilingual mind?
