Aims, contents and method of the course

The general relationship of Indo-European Linguistics and other fields of academic studies claiming the existence of a specific "Indo-European" culture and/or civilization with the ideology of National Socialism and its forerunners (such as Gobineau and Chamberlain) and the behavior of selected representatives of these academic fields in the time of National Socialism and also thereafter.

Assessment and permitted materials

According to the preference of the audience.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The aim of this class is to provide students with a basic knowledge of the relationship of academic Indo-European studies with the ideology of National Socialism and the behavior of selected representatives of these academic studies in the time of National Socialism and also thereafter.
