Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course will entail learning Old Irish grammar.
Assessment and permitted materials
Regular participation in class discussion (homework) and final written exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The goals of the course are to enable students to read simple Old Irish texts and to analyze the grammatical structures found there.
Examination topics
New concepts will be introduced by lecture, and already-learned material will be reviewed orally in class (in the form of translated exercises) on a regular basis.
