Aims, contents and method of the course

In dieser Lehrveranstaltung wird ein Überblick über Musikstile, musikalische Genres und Konzepte sowie Musikinstrumente ausgewählter Regionen vermittelt. Auf dem Programm stehen: arabische, türkische, persische, indische, tibetische, zentralasiatische, chinesische, japanische, indonesische, polynesische und afrikanische Musik.
Vortrag mit Audio- und Videobeispielen.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Um ein positives Prüfungsergebnis zu erlangen, muss mindestens die Hälfte der Punkte (10/20) erreicht werden.

Examination topics

Gegenstand der Prüfung sind die Inhalte der Vorlesung.
