Aims, contents and method of the course

In this course (which is a continuation of the course Middle Welsh: Introduction held in the wintersemeser) the students will be further familiarized with Middle Welsh. The main object of study in this semester will be the text Ystorya Bown o Hamtwn, the translation of an Anglo-Norman chivalry novel.

The course is intended for students who already have at least a beginner's knowledge of Middle Welsh and serves to further familiarize with Middle Welsh.
