Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Being equipped with a rich morphology the Indo-European languages possess a differentiated morphosyntax. The course introduces the theory as well as other relevant material and combines classic concepts with modern terminology (e.g. evidentiality, unaccusativity). The treatment comprises mainly the nominal categories (case, gender, number, article, gradation) and the categories of the finite verb (person, tense, mode, diatheses).
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam at semester end (in special cases an oral exam is also possible)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
